Dhaka, 28 August 2023: As part of World Breastfeeding Week (WBW) celebrations throughout the month of August, the National Nutrition Services (NNS) organized a roundtable discussion jointly with the Daily Kaler Kantho titled “Nourishing Futures: Importance of Optimal Nutrition in the first 6 months of life”. USAID’s Community Nutrition and Health Activity (CNHA) implemented by a CARE Bangladesh-led consortium, supported the organization of the event.

বিশ্ব মাতৃদুগ্ধ সপ্তাহ ২০২৩ উপলক্ষে ন্যাশনাল নিউট্রিশন সার্ভিসেস (এনএনএস) দৈনিক কালের কণ্ঠ কার্যালয়ে একটি গোলটেবিল বৈঠক আয়োজন করে। বৈঠকে আলোচনার বিষয়বস্তু ছিল―সোনালী ভবিষ্যৎ : জীবনের প্রথম ছয় মাসে শিশুর জন্য পরিমিত পুষ্টির গুরুত্ব। আলোচকরা শিশুর পুষ্টি উন্নয়নে প্রথম ছয় মাসে মা ও শিশুর যত্ন, চিকিৎসাসেবা ও অব্যাহত মায়ের দুধ নিশ্চিতকরণে করণীয়র ওপর গুরুত্বারোপসহ বিভিন্ন পদক্ষেপের সুপারিশ করেন।
National Mourning Day
CNHA observed National Mourning Day, a occasion dedicated to remembering and mourning the tragic assassination of the father of nation. On this day, we reflect the immense sacrifices made by our beloved leader and renew commitment to upholding the principles of justice and freedom that he championed in his life.
