 Faria Islam is a versatile finance and management professional with an academic background in Finance and Accounting, holding a master’s in international finance from the United States. Faria boasts over 9 years of experience specializing in financial management, project development, and budgeting for multiple organizations across the corporate and development sector, along with a brief stint as a lecturer at a renowned private university. She holds over 5 years of dedicated exposure of operating within the USAID ecosystem taking on roles in grants management, project budgeting, and compliance monitoring. Prior to joining CARE Bangladesh, Faria worked as a Grants Specialist for the USAID funded Bangladesh Aquaculture Activity (BAA), a market systems development project with a portfolio of USD 24.5 million.
